Alison Owen Speech Therapist, Voice Culture

Alison owen - founder & director

Alison is an experienced speech therapist, motivated by helping adults and children achieve their communication goals. She loves seeing the pure joy on her clients’ faces when they overcome a speech hurdle.

A speech therapist for many years, Alison has worked for the Auckland Education Board and the Manukau Special Education Services before starting her own company in 1995. In 2005 she established Voice Culture. Alison is also a member of the NZ Speech Language Therapists’ Association.


Kirstie Speech Pathologist, Voice Culture

kirsty - Speech Pathologist, B.Sp Path, MSPAA CPSP

Kirstie Holmes completed a Bachelor of Speech Pathology in Melbourne. She has specialist paediatric experience in a range of areas, including articulation, language, literacy and stuttering disorders. Kirstie is also involved in developing the area of accent modification at Voice Culture, and has done specialist training in this area. She is a certified practitioner and member of the Speech Pathologists Association Australia.
